“I always knew from a young age that I wanted to help people. At first I thought Physiotherapy would be the most rewarding; however at the age of 14 I discovered Chiropractic. My friend had suffered with a shoulder injury which was stopping her training for Netball. But after seeking Chiropractic care, she returned to the team at her best! It was great to see her perform at her optimum again and help the team succeed. This was where my interest in Chiropractic began.”
“I then spent some time with my local chiropractor and I discovered how chiropractic can help such a diverse range of problems that patients had been suffering with, without the use of medications. It was the patients feeling so much better, happier and reenergised that really made me fall in love with Chiropractic. I am so grateful to be part of this amazing healthcare profession.”
McCoy is passionate about addressing the underlying cause of a patient’s pain, not just the presenting complaint. Working together with the patient, they are able to live a healthy lifestyle and get back to doing what they love! “Explaining the underlying cause of a patient’s pain enables them to understand their body and motivates them to take action to help protect themselves alongside chiropractic care.”
McCoy has worked in North Lincolnshire as an associate Chiropractor, before moving back to the Cotswolds where she grew up.
McCoy enjoys staying healthy by cooking, experimenting with healthy recipes, making sure she gets regularly treated and walking in the countryside to reconnect with nature. McCoy has helped raise money for Meningitis Now by completing the 5 Valleys Walk, a 21 mile walk in the beautiful countryside surrounding her home town of Stroud.
