Alastair Atkinson BSc, DC, FCC (cranio), Certified Craniopath

I developed my passion for health pursuing my athletic and sporting potential as a youngster. I realised that an occupation which involved restoring and developing true health would marry my work with my passion. Chiropractic seemed more relevant for doing this than pursuing a career in medicine or physiotherapy.

I find daily practice varied, interesting and rewarding, helping patients and their families to better health and all that it brings.I also enjoy contributing to the profession and the public by teaching SOT (Sacro Occipital Technique) and cranial work to Chiropractors.

Profile

Gained his Chiropractic degree from the Anglo European College of Chiropractic.

He has worked as a Chiropractor at Cirencester Chiropractic Centre since 1995.

Gained advanced certification in SOT in 1998.

Qualified in Cranial Work (craniopathy) in 2000.

Alastair has been teaching SOT and Cranial Work for SOTO Europe since 2002. He has also served as an examiner for SOTO Europe for a number of years and is on the Education Committee of SOTO Europe.

Alastair has been studying NSA since 2002 and became Level 1 certified in 2004, Level 2 certified in 2006 and level 3 certified in 2009.

Alastair has continued extensive postgraduate study in chiropractic and other leading natural healthcare techniques. Keen to help more people access and benefit from some of the best complementary healthcare available, Alastair has invested a lot of time and effort into attending and studying with some of the world’s most renowned chiropractors, osteopaths, medical doctors and other healthcare experts.
